Flaws IN Malware

TEHTRI-Security has released a list of vulnerabilities in malware. You read that right, flaws in software that's attacking you. What's next, CVE entries? Their apparent suggestion is that you use these flaws to counter-attack your adversaries. This is risky in jurisdictions like the U.S., where such action puts you in the same lega...l state as the attacker. I DO like the out-of the box (and in-the-cell) thinking.

Cisco VPN Login Live - on CNN

CNN was covering President Obama's speech on the BP oil spill while running live video from what appeared to be a BP command or operations center.

In the midst of the video panels, an operator brings up a Cisco VPN client and authenticates to a service.

New Security Visualization Tools for 2010?

I'll be attending ShmooCon in February, and as part of the labs I'll be wanting to demonstrate some visualisation tools. I'm collecting suggestions for new and interesting things to show, so please send me any suggestions you may have.
